VIP CD Ripper comes with support for CDDB and ID3 tagging – meaning that users can automatically download CD track info and save it in the encoded file. Yet, if you don’t find your CD in the local CDDB, you have the option of selecting the CDDB Batch Query menu and collect the CD info of the pending disc entries, saving the disc information into the local CDDB and/or CDPlayer.ini files, as to fit your settings.

The program offers even a recording sound files tool. Time-limited recording is enabled as well as free length encoding (after pressing Record, you must click Stop to end recording). Additionally, you can designate the output encoder. It also includes DLL allowing you to specify special items such as quality, minimum bit rate, maximum bit rate, nominal bit rate.
